Fit and sizing
Schiek belts are measured in inches. Measure your waist at the navel (not your pants size) and compare with the size chart on the product page. For in-between sizes, Schiek recommends going up. The gloves run classic American sizing, which means slightly larger than European brands. For wrist wraps and grips, your wrist circumference determines the size. What's the difference between the Schiek 2004 and 2006?
The Schiek 2004 is 4¾ inches wide - the standard belt for bodybuilding and general strength training. The 2006 is 6 inches wide, the variant for maximum lumbar support, ideal for taller athletes and very heavy lifts. The Model 2000 is the 4-inch women's cut.
Which Schiek lifting straps are right for me?
For classic bodybuilding training, the Basic Padded Sticky Lifting Straps are enough. For very heavy deadlifts, shrugs or rows, we recommend the Power Lifting Hooks with steel hooks.
How long does a Schiek belt last?
With normal training, easily ten years or more. Schiek offers a 1–2 year warranty depending on product category (2 years on lifting belts) - the actual lifespan typically far exceeds that.
